West Racing Partnership had a fine season with Peggie Sue placing several times and winning 3 times it truly was another great season. Loretta Lass had a nice 2yr Old Season and has learnt an awful lot and we look forward to welcoming her back next year as we think she will really come into her home. Limited shares available in both horses so please contact us.
On a final note we must say a huge thanks to Adam West and his dedicated team for the outstanding commitment they have given us,
Peggie Sue goes to Chester this Saturday 31st August 2019, it is a step up in grade but given her last run at Nottingham we feel she'll go well. The race is a 0-100 over 5 1/2 furlongs. Toby Eley will take the ride.
Friday 26th July Peggie Sue has been entered at Ascot in the 0-85 Handicap for fillies and mares over 5f. The team are really excited.
Peggie Sue wins at Lingfield in the hands of Nicola Currie to make it 3 wins this season.
Peggie sue scores a double in the space of 10 days and what a fortnight it was... 1st May was a special day for the yard as they had their first ever across the card treble, with Peggie Sue completing the final leg of the treble. 11th May and Peggie Sue wins again but this time being the first horse of the winning double for the yard. We still have limited shares left in our horses so please get in touch as when they're gone they'e gone!!
This Sunday 28th April the West Racing Manager will be running the london Marathon in aid of Racing Welfare so please click on one of the links to show your support and sponsor him, please feel free to track him as his racing number is 41149. https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/john-webb17
Every little of sponsorship helps.
Peggie Sue ran a cracking race at Windsor 15th April, if she hadn't have been hampered then we would have finished in the first 4. Peggie has now been given an Entry for 1st May at Pontefract.
Peggie Sue has been declared to run at Windsor tomorrow 15th April, Nicola Currie takes the ride, it is a 0-85 but we think Peggie will run well. Don't forget we have the last few shares left in our unraced 2yr Old Filly so please contact us if you'd like further information.
Friday 29th March we took Peggie Sue to Lingfield for her first run of the season, Peggie was beaten by 7 lengths but she showed all her zest from last year, the winning time was 0.5 seconds outside standard and Peggie was running in a 0-85 so was upped in class. We'll now wait to see what the handicapper does.
Our 2yr old Filly is coming on really well and all being well she'll go to Lingfield Barrier trials day this month, she really is looking great and has a cracking attitude and we can't wait to see her on a racecourse. We do have limited shares so please contact us for further information.
West Racing Partnership now have 3 horses and we are really looking forward to seeking them race for us in 2019, the horses are:
* Peggie Sue -3yr old filly (Captain Gerrard out of Aunt Minnie)
* Happy Monday 3yr old filly (Kayf Tara out of Gold Reef)
* Maggie Yearling ( Elzaam out of Irina Princess)
Please contact us if you would like to know more about our lease options.
The 2018 flat season was a cracking season and Peggie Sue did us proud!!!
Peggie Sue went to Wolves 17th August and won by over a length, she was given a cracking ride and it just shows that when Peggie is ridden the right way the results are impressive, unfortunately the handicapper did not miss us and took drastic action. Peggie will now go to Sandown on 31st August in a 0-75 over 5 furlongs.
We went to Wolves with Peggie but had to have a jockey change as Paddy's partner had given birth (congratulations to all). Tom Queally took the ride and Peggie ran her usual gallant race to finish 7th.
Peggie Sue has been declared for the 3:45 at Wolves Monday 8th June 2018 , I am happy that we have secured the services of Paddy Mathers who won on her when she last ran at Wolves.
We took Peggie Sue to Lingfield 21st June and left slightly confused but I guess it was one of those days (we all get them).
Friday 8th June we took Peggie Sue to Wolverhampton and she duly obliged for us coming first at 14/1, the jockey Paddy Mathers gave her a peach of a ride.
Peggie broke from the stalls well and was always in the first 4 throughout, turning in it was looking promising and then up the home straight the dream came true to all owners, it certainly makes the journey from the South Coast worth it.
Again many thanks to Adam and his team for their persistent hard work and as they say teamwork makes the dream work #TeamWest
